But it has EVERYTHING to do with the play on the field. Jarrett Lee isn't being punished for being anything other than a quarterback who isn't as good as the starting quarterback who just so happens to be in front of him on the depth chart. That's it. If your starter goes down to injury or gets suspended, you roll with the back up, if the backup does a great job, you let him continue to start, while working in the guy you had previously planned on starting, when the back up starts to show signs of weakness or poor play, you bench him in favor of the dude who was supposed to start in the first place. This has turned into some bogus conspiracy theory masterminded by Les Miles to humiliate Jarrett Lee, and that isn't the case. If Lee is hurt, maybe he shouldn't have laid eggs against Kentucky, and Mississippi State, and thrown 2 picks to Bama, and then ole'd a tackle. Ive got no problem with Les. He is doing what he thinks will put the Tigers in position to win.
Update: After the SEC Championship Game he told multiple media members that he thinks he should be where he needs to be at the end of the semester. Intersession might not be necessary if he gets the grade he needs on his final exam.
Like I said, we can agree to disagree. I don't think it as anything to do with paly on the field. I don't know, and neither do you. We don't know why CLM treats them differently .. we don't know why JLee can throw an interception, and out trots JJ, ..but that JJ can go 3-out 6 times in a row, lose games, throw ints, get sacked, etc ... and CLM will not flinch. [culimation of the last 3 years of play]. Let's just hope that "cotton bowl game" JJ shows up on Jan 9th. Because if SEC CG JJ shows up, we will not win the crystal. It's really all up to JJ .. because JLee is out for this season. He can't even see the receivers on the field for looking over his shoulder. Even if Miles wanted to put him in, I doubt he could get a rhythm going.
I can say with confidence that Les Miles isn't benching Lee because he doesn't like him, or there is some vast conspiracy against him. And I think most would agree with that.

Like I said Leblanc ... there is a reason there have been so many threads and post on this subject. They could shut it down, and the topic would just pop up again elsewhere. ... and not necessarily by me. In fact, I don't think I've "started" any of the threads on this topic, nor have I diverted others to it. Lasalle .. I don't think there is a conspiracy .. I think there is something else going on ... like the grades thingy. At least that's what I'm hopin. Hard to justify playing a player when they have to miss practice to study in order to make a grade on a final exam.
