It happens. On the same token, anyone who thought LSU would be up big at the half really hasn't been paying attention to LSU football in recent years. LSU has been, is, and will be a 2nd half team for the most part. Will it be a blowout? It could happen, but I don't see it as likely. But I could see us getting up by the 14 points you mentioned pretty easily.

Did you see anyone running a post on that play?

This. Love his accuracy. Hate his fear of failure. But after all he's been through I certainly understand.

I'm not even close to an expert but I was curious is he really throwing off his back foot or is it that he has a very condensed, might be wrong word, throwing motion that makes it look like he is? Because his release seems really fast.

Maybe not a post but certainly saw routes deeper than seven yards. Also saw guys in the end zone on the short pass on 3rd and goal.

Holy ****! Did you see that pick?!?!

I don't understand those who state "it doesn't matter" and "so what?". It matters... at least to those who know the game and the position.

The 3rd down play where he stared down his receiver was a case of him throwing off his back foot. He doesn't have the arm strength to do that and he shouldn't do it even if he does.

That said, he can still be effective as long as he stays out of 3rd and long.

He looks much better than his last start.

Our offensive line... not so much.

I never said it doesn't matter, I said it's probably too late to correct it at this point of his career in mid-season. He's been playing QB his whole life probably, you don't think someone tried to correct it before? I trust our coaching staff.

someone referred to Brett Favre and he very much has that odd little hitch in his movement like Favre did with ducking his head when he throws

I won't say that he throws off his back foot every time but I will say he NEVER steps into his throws.

It's more of a fade backwards.

A few risky throws off his back foot that won't fly vs. Alabama ... BUT ... BUT ... BUT ...

He showed a damn quick release today and looked like a damn strong quarterback. Call me crazy but this was the best QB performance we've had since J-Rock and Flynn were in Baton Rouge.
