Don't see how you can complain about anything JL has done in the first half. Did he have bad breath or something?
I love what Lee is doing tonight. Really impressed. What is bothersome is the 6 points on the board. That's not gonna get it done week in and week out. Again, it has all to do with Les' run first mentality. The way Lee is throwing tonight, LSU should have at least 17 points. But he isn't allowed to throw unless the down and distance calls for it (except for a couple of instances). It is what it is. It's our limitation as a team (offensive philosophy), and we'll have to keep winning with the formula we use (and we will). Just don't look for a bunch of blowouts.
It's obvious that Jarrett Lee is going to the be reason we win this game. Running the ball up the middle for 2-3 yards at a time isn't gonna cut it. Once he gets the defense on its heels, we can start running the ball again in the 2nd half.
We shouldn't even need to go to a 3rd down with MSU 1st down ... play action pass after fake handoff to Ware 2nd down ... repeat Do this until they move out the box ... Then run Ware and Ford Lather, rinse and repeat ... 28 points in the 2nd half
Disagree..the defense is going to be the reason we win this game…would be a different game if they held on to the interception or jumped on the ball after relf's fumble.:LSU231:
