He's playing very smart throwing some good passes. Other than that one to D pete in the endzone on 3rd down was a little behind but he is playing good. Doesn't look like he's nervous at all.
He's doing exactly what he's being asked to do. The plan was obviously to have a short passing game. He's doing that well. Now he has hit a couple longer passes. He will only get better with time.
He's actually ready now. They are just holding back. And now when you think we ought to actually run and be safe, we throw a silly interception. Go figure.
Obviously a miscommunication between Lee and Randall as Randall broke his route off short. At least it wasn't an ill-advised throw; throw into triple coverage or the like. 131 consecutive pass attempts without an INT. 2nd best streak in school history behind Risher's 137 in '82 (I had to look it up).
You can't ask for much more than 21/27 and over 200 yards with a TD. He managed the game well and showed he's got what it takes to get it done.
Game ball to Lee. Or darn Mo played pretty awesome too. But I think Lee's passes are what gave our defense breathing room.
