tigerace -- I agree that Lee will probably not be a successful NFL QB. But my respect for him has went up based on how he personally handled everything this season. So I gotta challenge you on your comments.... How many pick six's did Lee throw this year? What about last year in his limited time?
Hey, I like JL. I think it takes a kid of unquestionable character to stay around a program when the chips are down and you could have folded and gone home. I share your respect for him as well. My point with the pick 6's displays a psychological flaw with his game, just like being scared to take a hit. I know he did not throw any pick 6's this year (however he came close several times). I think he played outstanding in limited playing time. However, I just do not think he posesses the physical or mental skills to play at the next level. Just my opinion is all. Not a knock against him. There were 120 Div 1 QB's this season, the majority of which will never play in the NFL.
U act as if skill sets aren't learned. Lee's biggest issue was due to the coaching scenario he found himself in. Getting jj the f*** out of the picture, and lee would have made an even better showing than he did this year. But, as we have can all see, ur still stuck in 2008.
I think Flynn has better pocket presence, a stronger arm, better mecanics, better field vision, checks down to secondary recievers better, and might be a bit more mobile.
Skill sets can be learned, but JL just does not have the overall talent or mentality to complete the skill set. I agree, getting JJ out of the picture might have accelerated JL's skil set, but that's just speculation, which you seem to be dabbling in. I am dealing in facts and performance evaluation. You obviously think JL could have been more at LSU. I happen to think not. Does not mean I am stuck in 2008, but that was a nice try.
It's Flynn. But Spring Games don't mean shyt, as you know. Spring game gives you an idea of how kids have developed, that's all. You are barking up the wrong tree here with that argument.
