to think coaches don't have pull in less severe situations is probably incorrect but I definitely agree with you on this one.

 

doubt it, but it will have a negative effect on next years team.

The only silver lining is that the program can now offer more playing time and has more schollies for recruits!

 

If Jackson had stayed in Louisiana none of this would've happened to him.:wave:

Absolute idiots.

I'm interested to see how they get them off the hook though.

 

At the very least this will hurt them Saturday. Jackson, by all accounts, was playing extremely well. He was a starter and probably had all SEC in his future. Richardson was in the 2 deep rotation and playing well too. I think the distraction alone could give ole miss an edge.

Long term I dont see this hurting them much at all. They have a good class committed right now short the QB they were looking for. Orgeron was recently quoted at a QB club meeting about not recruiting choir boys and thats what he's getting. This wont be much of a setback.

Ironically Kiffin said a few days ago in his weekly presser about how the team had the highest GPA in years and no discipline problems or arrests. Spoke too soon. :hihi:
