JR will win every time because of his physical abilities... when he came out of hs the coaches were drooling over his potential.. even if he doesnt get there each year the coahces will still think "maybe next year that potential will kick in!"... many coaching staffs will take the potential greats over teh already goods...
Well this is exactly what I heard. Why on earth would you sit someone that knew the playbook and was capable of making the throws over someone that didn't know it at all? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me, bro. Incorrect. Randall won the first one. And I don't remember one last year. This is the first one, whether you like it or not. Just because you have a favorite, doesn't mean there isn't a decision to be made. Incorrect, again. And even downright foolish. What we saw was, despite the benefits of the other offensive facets, a QB that actually used his head when he played, and one that made good decisions. That, my friend, is not an illusion. Maybe you'd like it to be to support your argument, but that doesn't make it so.
But I digress. This sh*t's about as old as the Iraq argument. Just take it if it make you feel better. Because frankly, I can devote no more energy to repeating myself.
So what you heard wasn't a credible reports that Flynn was #2. You heard credible reports that made you think Flynn was #2. JaMarcus made up a lot of ground on the playbook before the season rolled around. As far as competition between JaMarcus & Flynn, JaMarcus has been chosen over him twice so far, and IMO, will be once again. I am admitting there is a decision to made, I just don't think it's as hard of one as some think. We did in fact see a QB who made solid decisions. The illusion I referred to was the belief that our offense dominated due to Flynn, instead of what it actually was - just with him as a part of it.
I'm bored and it's been a really, really slow Monday - that's the only reason I'm still debating this.
This is why (thus far) i have to compare JR to Aaron Brooks... physically talented, can wins games for you, but can also lose them (the D bailed him out a couple times last year)... Flynn seems more of the Matt Mauck type.. he isnt going to dominate a game, but he appears to have a good head on his shoulders and will manage a game and not lose it for you..
Hmmmm, it seems like there is another similarity between JR/AB and MF/MM. I just can't quite put my finger on it...............Anybody?
Yes, JR and AB both wear a size 14 1/2 shoe, while MF and MM both fit nicely into a pair of 11's. That's it right?
