I am hoping JR decides to come back to LSU next year. I think he will have a legitimate shot at winning the heisman and his draft stock will be just as high if not higher. At the same time, I cant blame him if he opts to go make millions in the NFL. I think we are really going to miss JR at LSU though. I just hope he doesnt end up with the Raiders. Lions state they are not taking a QB,RB, or WR so maybe he will end up in Cleveland or Tampa Bay..

Anybody know what the deadline date is for JR to declare/not declare himself for the NFL draft?

Thanks. I didn't realize it was that soon. Although I'm 99.99% convinced he's going to declare, at least we won't have to wait long for the definitive answer.

Cold Pizza just said people should be careful about Russell because he wasn't mentioned in the Heisman race.

Um, if you mother ****ers would get your head out of the media darling's ass(es), you would see what everyone else has all season. **** espn.

it would be absolutely stupid to return. Early is the only proven wideout left, then losing your O-coordinator/qb coach on top of it and possibly the oline coach. the powerball ticket analogy was exactly right. you cash it before the ink dries in almost all cases.

Leinart cost himself 20 mill by returning. Not exactly a good comparison. Dudes already missed more games than favre as well. 1. he's fragile just like i thought which was why i said i would never have taken him early.
