Mike Golic just said on Mike and Mike that JR might be a late first round pick if he comes out. He's obviously in a lot of pain this morning.

    That's some sour grapes.

Even I realize he is going #1 to the Raiders now.

The Mikey's don't know CFB at all. Mel Kiper will set them straight if he hasn't already.

He's been amazing, and if he thinks the time is right to leave, he's got every right to do so. I sure hope he doesn't go to the Raiders, tho.

It's great to be an LSU tiger. It's great to not have to worry about your badass QB leaving because you have backup QBs who are arguably better than most 1st string college QBs.

Still, the NFL will always be there for Russell. The opportunity to be an LSU All-American and a Heisman trophy front-runner next year and STILL be a number one draft pick has got to be playing in his mind.

That's like not cashing your winning powerball ticket because it might be worth more if you win it again next week.

I would do backflips if JR decided to stay!!! I would hate to see him got to the Raiders......

After last nights performance JR looks to be a top 10 pick. If hes smart he will take the money and run. The emergence of Vince Young has opened a lot of eyes to what a big strong mobile QB can do in the NFL. And JR is a rare specimen. One things for sure it will be harder to get the next JR out of the state of ALABAMA.

Maybe harder but far from impossible......under Nick Saban, Ryan P was leaving the State and Miles snagged him. He was the #1 dual-purpose QB in the Nation.
