It's early in this story, but on the surface, I agree with you.

    What would his agenda be?

he tells me off anytime I suggest anything about Ryan Perrilloux this fall, so apparently, JR is his man... and rightfully so

People are making too much out of nothing...

They were talking on Sports Gumbo this morning about how Jamarcus was depressed and needed professional help....and it wasn't just a comment, it lasted for over 10 minutes! :dis:

I heard Ott's show. Whomever is accusing RRR of not being legit...whatever. The guy is a member of the media in Mobile. Make up another excuse to discredit the man.

Either way, I have absolutely had it up to HERE with this one freakin' crisis after another crap with Miles. I mean the man is constantly goofing up, and never in subtle proportions. Dude needs a new PR director or someone that can cover up his continued debacles. I am literally baffled at why he would do something of this nature.

Was JR actually upset? Or was his father just saying that JR wished he could go?

I think anyone knowing Crawfish knows that he only has one agenda on this board and it is getting rid of Les Miles

Ray posts on TB, it was him on the radio. JR is all about the team, said if the coaches think it's best for him to stay, he'll stay and rehab..but he'd rather be with the team.

Quote from Jimbo Fisher at press conference today:

"JaMarcus has some medical issues. The shoulder was a severely separated shiulder, had a slight tear in it, and it was a medical decision to leave him home to rehab.. because he just came out of the sling the day we left, had the mri on it. The first ten days after that are crucial in the movement and structure rebuilding of that shoulder to get back.. and we're going into spring ball much earlier this year. This is about the future of JaMarcus Russell. I mean it was a medical decision based on him staying home, and this is a huge game, but his significance on the sideline compared to him being home rehabing and continuing his future as an LSU quarterback was much more crucial than him being on the sideline for this football game."

the fact that he was not with the main part of the team has been reported all day on WWL in NOLA. As far as Russell's attitude about it, who knows and why does it really matter?

If you think about it, would Miles (or any D-1 head coach who has bigger elements of planning for the bowl game to worry about) be walking around delivering news about the trip to individual players? If this big waste of time were true, wouldn't this just make Coach Miles an even worse coach than most of his detractors here on Tigerforums think he is.

The only excuse for not allowing Jamarcus to make the trip is for some disciplinary measure. Therapy can be done in Atlanta and surgery can wait, it's not like they're saving him for a game next week. Has Jamarcus done something to deserve this? If not then Les will have some explaining to do.
