That sentence implies that he is wearing the chain because of the LSU fan's treatment of him. I always knew JR was all about JR. He's not about LSU.
I don't think he worse the chain to 'dis LSU.... ...although if he did, I really can't blame him with people like LSUDeek around
Rocky III is on... .this quote is too good to waste :hihi: Paulie: [referring to African-Americans ] I don't like these people. Rocky Balboa: You don't like em'? Well maybe they don't like you either Paulie. Paulie: [in awe] What'd I ever do to them?
but is he a "boy" from somewhere that could be described as a "ghetto"? i, myself, tend to think its an alabama thing. if you were affiliated with bama (namath with the furs and bryant with the ugly hat) or just from the state (jr with the gaudy medallion).
As long as there are no marijuana roaches in the ashtrays of their friends' vehicles........it's all good. Trade ya for one of Claussen pulling up in the limo and making a mockery of the recruiting process, proclaiming FOUR National Championships.....musta thought he was in BR. :hihi: http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/9393293
It's an NFL thing. Think about it. A lot of people tend to think the "bling thing" is an NBA thing. But, considering the "stars" of the NBA (Kobe, Duncan, Nash, etc.) you don't see a lot of them wearing the bling. MLB, same way.
I've have to simpathize with ol' JR even though I was never a big fan of his while he was here... Little to much like a certain former Raider qb for my tastes... however, I went to UL, but I have a room in my house painted Purple and Gold... does that make me at traitor to my school? No, I'm just celebrating my roots, being born and raised in the Baton Rouge area... Not entirely the same since I didn't play for UL, but the same idea applies...
