Thats just what we need. Players filing lawsuits against their teamates and then having to play on the same court together during the season. Nothing gets a team more focused on winning than a good lawsuit.
If you have ever played team sports you know that sometimes in the heat of action in a tough practice tempers flare and a few punches are exchanged. When John Madden coached the Raiders he liked to see a few fights during preseason training camp because then he knew the guys were taking their jobs seriously. I guarantee you that there is not a single NFL team in preseason camps where there has not been a fight or two between teamates. Maybe Lloreda is a great guy who has an anger management problem when he is pushed so far. Maybe he is an asshole all the time. I have never met him so I don't know. I do know that he is a hell of a basketball player in a big man position that LSU badly needs a money player for next season. There is no info I have seen as to the exact nature if the incident. If it is serious enough to warrant suspension Brady will suspend him for a game or two early in the season.
Per the Morning Advocate: "There aren't any scars," he said. "It was an internal surgery. I'm feeling fine now, and I'll be back for the season. This was just something that happened. Competitive juices were flowing, and it went too far. Jaime lost his temper. Obviously for me, it's not an ideal situation. "But I thought it was all handled appropriately. The day I had the surgery, they had a team meeting and I heard he apologized. I haven't talked to him yet, but Jaime and I have always gotten along fine. And I'm sure we'll continue to be friends in the future. I think it's a non-issue now, and we've moved through it."
