Jack Hunt makes first tackle of the Hula Bowl

They naturally asked him who would win if LSU played USC. He told Herbsteit he wasn't going to let him draw him into that argument. The USC player who was interviewed said pretty much the same thing. Neither one of them got suckered into falling for Herbstreit's BS.

 

Yeah, I saw the USC player interview. Guy had some class. Herbstreit and May looked like they were really annoying the coaches by calling the plays.

 

If it had been me I don't think I could have resisted saying something like "Kirk, you ignorant moron. We proved we could beat anybody in the country when we beat Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. See this National Championship ring I'm wearing? Nobody in the world has one except for me and my teamates and coaches. The argument is over."

 

HAHA, I can see Lavalais saying that but not Jack. The ESPN announcer predicted USC would win. He said that their offense is better and that their defense is really good also. I was fixing to throw the T.V. out the window. These announcer are just followers. They just repeat stuff said from other announcers.
