Well if you follow baseball there isn't that much loyalty between player and team alike. So don't count on Andruw to be a lifelong Brave. The odds are against that. That being said, it will take a few years for someone like Holt to progress into the major leagues. By that time, Andruw is long gone more than likely.

The Braves don't have a f-ing clue where they will put him....I can promise everyone hear that. They may have drafted him for a possible position but they have too many prospects in the minors in the upper infield (2nd/SS) to draft someone ONLY for that position. Expect Holt to float around

Downside of his career?? Isn't he only 24/25? Mybe he needs a contract year to lose weight and break out like Javy Lopez???

Andruw Jones is 27 years old, 6-1, 210 pounds. In my opinion, he is the best centerfielder in baseball, and ranks up there with some of the greats of all time...defensively, anyway. He hasnt been hitting that well this year, batting .250 now, though he does have 12 homers. J.D. Drew is 27, Chipper 32. I have heard that Chipper may move back to the infield, but I really dont know where he would go. The only guy in the infield over 30 is Julio Franco at 1B, who is 45, but he is only a part time player, anyway.

well its been known by anyone following basbeball AJ has been the best defensive CF in the game.... his offensive numbers inlcuding stolen bases throughout his career are far less than they could have been. If he had Biggio's attitude and work ethic he coulda been one of the greats I do believe. But too much gold club in atlanta may do that to you....well at least now its closed down.

well when you're an overhyped superstar athlete and you've been having women thrown at you from every direction its nothing new. The University of Colorado 'scandal' is a way of life at most every university with an elite athletic program. Starts from recruiting high schoolers to the groupies on the road. Could be fun I presume.
