I've seen Jamarcus lose his cool twice this season

Russell played well, and if he was rattled it didn't cause a bad decision. Both interceptions were on 3rd and longs on long passes where if it's intercepted it's a punt. Russell's decision making has improved greatly this season.

By the way, welcome to TigerForums.

    Do I know you? :hihi:

Arkansas was a top 25 team today IMO... but at the same time, they only had 2-3 good plays all game... They just took advantage of what was given to them

Jamarcus has had sharper games and so have our receivers.

I just dont think they were that inspired to play today.

People had been talking like this game was a formality and our offense just didnt come ready to play for 60 minutes.

The kickoff after our TD to go 19-3 was a big play. They dont get that even though they dont score turned field position and set them up on the next series.

I dont think Georgia better count on the team coming that uninspired next week.

We need all aspects of our game to be clicking next week.

And Defense Backfeild. It is OK if a ball hits you in the hands during the game to catch it and give it back to our offense.

We sure have not caused many turnovers on defense this year.

What's the theory on the dropped passes? He's not rifling it in there like he used to, which probably led to a couple of his picks today. I can't figure it out, especially from Bowe. Maybe they need to take the gloves off. Why do receivers wear gloves anyway?

Those gloves are the legal way to use stickum. That isn't the problem. Bowe was just way off today. He is usually good for a score or a big gain a game. Don't know what was up with him.

I do think that one of the problems may be that we have so much talent on this offense, and nobody is our clear cut offensive star receiver, that everytime these guys get a ball thrown their way they are thinking about making a play instead of making a catch. Could be completely wrong, who knows for sure, except it is 100% a mental problem.

he got blindsided pretty hard on that pass interference in the 3rd qtr. maybe it rung his bell a little more than he'll admit.

I agree, kinda like a confused look on his face. This Tiger team showed up and played what I thought was the most uninspired game in quite a while. Showed up as though the West was won already. I also agree with westcoasttiger that it is hard to get emotionally charged for every game, but last night was bad...and with the Title on the line.
Just when you thought this team was finally starting to gel, they make you wait another week before making that comment.

    Good Question and Point!!!

In my opinion we don't utilize our receivers to the best of our ability. On first downs 90% of the time we run the same up the middle play. We rarely air the ball out to one of our super-star receivers with blazing speed. We rarely throw to our tight-end. I don't know, but this team just seems to be missing something. It's like a gumbo that tastes ok but if it had just a little something else, maybe a little more tabasco or something as simple as s little more salt (terrible analogy--must be hungry) we're winning yes, but it's almost painful to watch week after week
