Right.. Just like against Oregon had the receivers not dropped at least 4-5 passes I can think of off the top of my head, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

And FWIW, I'm happy either way. Mett looked sharp too, but Lee did nothing to warrant even thinking about not letting him start for the foreseeable future.

One of Mett's passes was a perfect strike that was dropped. Can't really blame him for that one.

Look, Lee is the starter through mid-season, at least. And, HE did nothing to discount that tonight. Just watching ZM in an actual competition in TS, and he immediately looks better than Lee ever has at any point against any competition. That's the bottom line. It's not a knock on Lee's performance tonight, he was fine. It's just that Mett gets your palate whet with how good this offense could actually be. The line will continue to be stacked with JL as QB. As long as we win, I ultimately don't care, but ZM is the smoother QB, no question about it.

Wow...so much for just enjoying a good victory and a great performance by two QB's. I am happy we have BOTH of these guys. JLee did a good job and played a great game. Enjoy the moment.

Lee is on pace to have a good year and be a great story...until he screws up...let him do his thing.

It was obvious that Mett was the most talented QB to take the field in the game. I think Lee did well though - but it's a huge relief to see the talent that we have on the bench...

I expect Lee will continue to play - Les will stick with Lee's experience. And really, experience is a big deal. Mett may be a more sound QB who can make the throws, but overconfidence can lead to poor decisions. I hope both get to play this Thursday. I am very pleased with today's performance and feel like we threw the ball more than I feared and threw the ball well.

I'm not blaming anyone.. All I was doing was pointing our how ridiculously silly the accuracy argument was when both of them had great completion ratios.
