Yeah, I agree, by mid-season, Mett will be the starter. Lee may do something to get yanked, or get hurt, or something. Mett will come in, resurrect the offense, and then, presto, he will remain as starter the rest of the way. Agree, this is the second half against NWSt. in mop up, but dude stands tall, and fires the ball. Looks like the future, as in immediate future. Lee just needs to get them through the first few games to stabilize the JJ debacle.
I agree. And when we lose that first game because we couldn't mount a credible threat in the passing game (see Auburn game last year), those that are 100 % behind him need to stay on his side and not complain.
I really think Our D is that good that we just need a game manager. Flynn was not flashy by any means but just solid. Once JL does what the coaches ask him, we could go all the way.
i hope you're not implying that JJ was ever a good sec QB. he was grossly out of position, should have been a te.
He's a fifth year SR. Once should have happened already. He's starting b/c JJ got arrested. I am behind JL, and agree with the experience over talent concept, but Mett looks head and heels above JL.
No, I'm saying the people on this board who say it's Lee's team, great story, not making mistakes, etc, need to stick behind him when this doesn't work out so well against a Florida or a Bama.
