I think there is a difference between a liar and a person that has lied.

So stop voting for the Liars!

    Krypto Huh?

At the present time, they do not have the votes to override his veto.

then that makes what he is doing (not using he veto power) even that much more spineless.

    TheDude I'm calmer than you.

I guess you are laughing at the impotent nature of this gesture.

    Jindal will not be recalled.

How lucky for you, so you will be able to wail about him for another 3 years.

The idea of a recall is to send a message. Let's see if Jindal is politically deaf or not.

Not at this coonass's house. I put this right up there with the Notre Dame Cotton Bowl fiasco. I have a long memory when something really chaps me.

I believe the chances of a veto has improved. A number of legislators who voted for the raise have recanted and have spoken with Jindal, recommending he veto it. Even Senator Tucker has begun to backslide on his vote and has stated he would understand if the governor vetoes it. But more importantly, Jindal himself indicated yesterday that a veto is not out of the question.

I think he has learned that he cannot take the hands-off approach to legislation that he took this session. But if he does not veto the pay raise, he has not learned nearly enough.

of course he can do good things.. he just gave the legislature a $20,700 a year bribe to get his bills passed.
