Got nothing to do with that. I don't always agree with the substance of his comments, and I don't hold that against him. What I do hold against him is whoring himself out to those 2 schools. He acts like he's all high & mighty and above your typical media pitfalls. You would think he would try to avoid that. And I'm sure you can identify the stark difference between those 2 shows. I doubt it. No one around here wants to tune in to hear USC and ND getting their nuts massaged. We get enough from every other media outlet.
I know what you mean. I think thats pretty weak on his part. If he's going to bash someone then kiss ass, thats weak. He does get some good interviews though. But, Cowherd is the best nationally. Talk about a good replacement for Tony K. His show is funny as hell. Thats the kinda show I wanna do.
I beg to differ. If people didnt want to hear it, the Score wouldnt air it. People do listen. Believe it or not, there may be some fans of USC or ND in Baton Rouge:shock: No Way!!! All kidding aside, I know that of course LSU dominates the market. But so what if he gives a knob job to USC or ND or whoever. People need to learn to have it both ways. Everyone praises Cowherd b/c he talks good about LSU. But, when he's shining USC, Rome is a prick. You can tell bias in any sports or political program you listen to. But, its sometimes blaringly apparent like is the case for most local sports talk here.
Scrappy, I didn't think I would have to point this out, but this thread is not being broadcast anywhere but TF. So, you can beg all you want, but I'm welling to bet that no one on TF wants to tune in to a USC/ND orgy. You're comparing local talk shows to syndicated programs once again. If Rome weren't syndicated and it was just a local show in SoCal that I could hear on iTunes, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
Thast kind of a low blow there. That hurt. Men not open minded? Surely you jest. I'd like to think I'm quite open minded. It is you who is not open minded.
Cowherd is one of th biggest usc homers out there. He kisses theree but more than anyone that i have ever heard on the radio.
