    Why was Bama's band booed?

Bc they kept trying to drown out the tiger band. Everytime they cranked up the gumps decided to be gumps.

I'd start losing faith in Tiger fans when they start poisoning trees and putting their genitals on other people.

However, Tusktimes and Captain Tide make it extremely hard for me to hate Alabama. I don't understand why you 2 can't just be pricks, so I can hate all of you. You 2 are good dudes, can't wait til next season, wish we could play you guys every game.

I've always found that it's most fun just to hang out with rival fans. I love it when visitors come to experience Tiger Stadium; the f-bomb isn't appropriate.

After the '07 heartbreaking loss in 3OT to Arkansas, my daughter (six years old, at her first LSU game) congratulated an Arkansas fan on the way out of the stadium. She looked up and me and said, "I told him congratulations, but I didn't mean that in my heart."

I assured her that was what it meant sometimes to exhibit good sportsmanship.

This is precisely why I stopped GOING to games and chose instead to be a "Backyard Tailgater". I get a perfect view of the game, can pause, rewind and have my own replays, grill, drink beer, and enjoy the game in peace. I understand the shear depth of hatred when it comes to Alabama, but there is a big difference between the man who will stand tall, with class, and let you spit the F-bombs without retaliation. I just don't believe people should treat each other that way. Call me anything you like, they are words. I have no need nor the time, nor do I care enough about it to respond in such a way. There is a fine line between friendly rivalry and cursing at the fans of the opposing team. McTiger basically said if they were doing it, we should too. Why? What happened to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"? So, if you drop F-bombs at me, I am expected to return the favor? And what if I choose to let you make an ass of yourself and remain silent?

Tiger420, a very well worded post. Hopefully some folks will understand the meaning behind it.

That's cute, kind of like when you play little league and you have to shake hands after the game, and some of the kids are crying, and slapping the hands of the winning team...

sorry, but I don't know what that cheer says............would someone please post for me. I know it has something to do with a yellow hammer.....Is it:

    Rama Bama
    Yellow hammer
    Stick it up my
    Butt hole Slammer?

    Or something like that?

The most classless thing I have ever seen in Tiger Stadium was at the South Carolina game. The student section of the South Carolina fans (or at least the sections sitting closest to their band so I assume students) started doing a South Carolina cheer (I believe it was "go cocks") during the National Anthem. They were booed immediately after the National Anthem ended.

It is one thing to disrespect each other simply because of rivalry. But to disrespect the National Anthem was something I have never witnessed until that game.

My issue with our fans, at least the ones they showed on tv, was that they all looked like they had da gay.
