    So New Orleans is in the midst of a project to flush out about 25% of the city's storm drains. DPW says in a 5-block stretch of St. Charles Avenue - Lee Circle to Poydras St - they've sucked out 46 tons of Mardi Gras beads. I'm sure that's done wonders for downtown when it rains.
