1. Re: Its ridicules to pick Florida to win if Tebow can’t play

You can't really blame them though, they have to protect the University they represent because the system they play in is total CRAP. If there were a playoff system you might not hear it that much, but coaches are lobbyists also, and they have to lobby for their team. Les Miles did it in 07 when he said we were the only unbeaten team in regulation.

now there's a point that tiger and gator fans can all agree on! stick around. with posts like that you will get along great here!

as far as tebow, i dont expect meyer to release information on his playing status any more than i would expect coach miles to release information. why give away anything that will help the other team prepare?

either way, i hope for a great game. and a tiger win.

btw, keep that friendly rivalry attitude, laugh off the "tiger baits", and i predict you'll have a good time before the game!

Who is this guy? I can't believe I actually clicked on another of his posts to read his frickin drivel. Look, Mr. Tigerclawswipe, I mean nothing personal towards you. But your posts are the most unthoughtout, meaningless, b.s. I've ever read. I vow not to click on another of your comments. Please don't change your TF moniker, if you do I might click on another of your posts and lose another IQ point just for reading it.

And by the way, the last time Big Ben was out for a game, Charlie Batch won it running away.

OkieTiger I like your style. I enjoy the rivalry and banter. Its great fun as long as its done in jest and both sides respect the others. What I cant stand are when "any" team's fans make ad hominem attacks about a player and are serious. Players seriously mocking an injured player or his religion and ethics is bogus. I dont tolerate that crap. But good ole banter bring it on. Love it. Ive always enjoyed LSU fans-top notch and love football, women and food. Geaux Gators!
  5. Re: Its ridicules to pick Florida to win if Tebow can’t play

I'm thinking Tebow is kept out for more important SEC East games and, like JohnLSU, I'm hoping that Brantley gets rattled when he realizes this huge game is on his shoulders and the house is rockin' like never before. Meyer can talk to Brantley all he wants about staying calm but unless the kid is an ice man we'll be in his head and he will be flinching a lot.

Not to take anything away from their backup QB but I'm hoping that Tebow gets the clearance and plays this saturday. GOD FORBID LSU beats Florida without Tebow. We will have to hear that crap for the rest of the season. That will be twice as bad as that excessive celebration penalty in the Georgia game.
  7. Re: Its ridicules to pick Florida to win if Tebow can’t play

That's what our bowl opponents must've been thinking when Mauck and Flynn got their first starts after our starter went down. Periwinkle had a pretty good one too even though it was Middle Tenni.

Sets up one helluva sequel for the SECCG don't it.
  8. Re: Its ridicules to pick Florida to win if Tebow can’t play

As a Gator it would be great if Brantley won in Baton Rouge and then Tebow in Atlanta against y'all again. Why can't it be saturday now. Geaux Gators. Course. I'm partial here. :)
  9. Re: Its ridicules to pick Florida to win if Tebow can’t play

The way I see it is the only thing better than beating one Gator QB would be.... ;)
  10. Re: Its ridicules to pick Florida to win if Tebow can’t play

A surprisingly big spread. And a sign of disrepect given 1. Its not sure Tebow will play and 2. Its a LSU home game.

Unfortunately, over the years about every time I've thought a spread seem ridiculous it almost always holds up. So by this reasoning, Florida will cover. So I was very disappointed to see the unreasonable spread because its bad news for the Tigers.
