It can't be Sunday night because the extra day is needed to work out of the logistical problems, like traveling, etc. There's a hurricane affecting things. Deal with it. are espn2 games ever in HD?

 

They do have ESPN 2 in HD available but not every cable compnay picks it up yet. For fact I know that Time Warner here in Texas does not only HD for ESPN.
