1. Beyond inexcusable. Beyond incompetent. Beyond foolish. Beyond any doubt now that Miles is not going to surpass Saban when it comes to building a football program.
  2. Unfortunately, Miles was never able to convince his players that this was exactly what was at stake. Maybe, he didn't believe it himself, as evidenced by the gameplan. Whatever the reason, it's true and even a 77-0 blowout next year won't change it.

    GEAUX TIGERS
  3. YOu know Miles did jinx it himself because he had supposedly sad during the game that his worst fear would be that his team would not perform like they did. Meaning he probably did even believe in this team. Good lord what if Maze was still in the game and what if our defense was completely horrible it would have been worsed than that. I defense proved to be excellent despite the field goals and the one touchdowns. We only let in one touchdown against a RB on Alabama who is the best. To me it is still some karma. Trust me we will get alabama back from this. What doesn't kill you make you stronger and all of this good for les miles it might just make him a better coach. Like I said earlier the recruiting crop looking good with 3 excellent QBs. We can come back and win it next year for sure. I am positive because we still got Mathieu for 2 more years.
  4. You are right-they were not prepared.
The difference is a emotionless face, folded-arms, walking the sidelines type of attitude versus the following: with only a couple of minutes left in the game with Alabama leading 21 to zip, LSU's ball approx at mid field, the game in TOTAL control of Alabama-and a Alabama player gets a five yard penalty for offsides-and is immediately pulled out of the game and is met on the field before he can get to the sidelines and Saban is in his face yelling and yelling!!
    This tells the story.
  5. Great post and I am proud of this TIGER team !

  6. I think your post goes right to the heart of the matter: Miles never convinced his team that A) Alabama deserved to be in the game, & B) We would have to play better than we did on Nov. 5th to beat them.

Every time the cameras panned our sidelines it looked like everyone was shocked and demoralized; coaches and players alike. This was a colossal team flop and if our coaches and players do not come out next season with a chip on their shoulder then we learned nothing from this sickening experience.

It has been a long, long time since I was this disappointed in an LSU football team and coaching staff. We'll see how they respond.
  7. I see some people talking about being happy that both QB's are gone next year. I can agree with half of this. I have never stood behind JJ or his style of play. But lets be honest. JJ never led LSU to #1, Lee did. Lee got us to #1 and once Les became infatuated in JJ, all he had to do was keep us there. I am really wondering how Lee would have played last night. Guess I will never know and that is what upsets me. Les should have used all of his assets last night to try to win the game. He saw the offensive not performing and didnt do anything about it. Poor play calling and poor play making lost us that game.
  8. Well put. I've said that I would do the same in the past but have never been successful. I can't stomach watching Miles coach LSU anymore. It's too painful. He's an arrogant, and rude ********. To think that he gets paid millions a year for such incompetence is dismaying. I long for the days when I don't have to see that clown on the sidelines. My old posts about Miles that everyone so heavily criticized are spot on about him. He's ignorant, stubborn, and will NEVER change. Your average fan can coach a better game than that. What else could you expect from Jefferson. He obviously needs a psych evaluation. Both he and Miles suffer from extreme narcissism and delusions of grandeur.
  9. Most of this is completely out of line. Everyone is disappointed in last night, but have some perspective.
  10. Well, then you won't need to post on LSU fan sites anymore. Go find a bama site.
