That's true, but didn't we get our first glimpse of a 1970's Big 10 offense that game? My memory ain't what it used to be, but I think I remember us going ultra conservative on offense, which allowed Tenn back into the game.
Was a hectic time, I remember more of the ASU game than the Tennessee one but I think you're correct.
I don't remember if we went conservative on offense but wasn't that the game where Miles wore the tiny Madonna headset and called for a fake punt from our own endzone? Dude had a questionable grip on reality from the beginning.
i don’t disagree. just find the irony comical. the knock on Miles was his offense couldn’t beat Bama. but last 2 home games vs them, his offense put them in position to win and the defense blew it. lost the two games by a combined 11 points. fast forward to 2016, and we have the worst offensive showing since the NC game. got shutout and lost the game by 10 and people thought somehow that it was an improvement. and this isn’t a defense of Les in anyway. it’s just pointing out that what O did last year (and used by some here as defense for hiring him) is not actually any better than the guy we couldn’t wait to run out of town.
Haha, definitely. And the camera caught him asking where his wife was instead of focusing on what was happening on the field.
Well, don't forget Miles (while at okie lite) had tx down by at least 21 in one game at half and I want to say more than that in another. Lost both. It's a pattern
There is nothing wrong with a fan believing in his team. There is something wrong when fans start in so negative from the start.
