hey, thats not too bad, J_(honey bunches of)Oats, maybe you can replace Berman when his imagination runs dry.
My favorite "Berman" moment was him recapping a Saints vs 49ers game. The Saints fumbled and Tim McDonald picked up the fumble and ran it back for a score. Berman did it like this: "FUMBLE!!" then to the tune of Old McDonald he said "And Tim McDonald has the ball he could go all the way". Hilarious in person not typed.
There may not be too many Butkuses in the phonebooks in South Louisiana but there aren't many Boudreauxs in the midwest either. Butkus is an ethnic name that is fairly common in parts of the midwest. The fact that it is a famous name is because of what Dick Butkus did on the field. How could I have forgotten Emmit Smith? Must have been the Jack Daniels. For Jones how about Roy Jones Jr?
How about Kirby (Union Gap) Puckett, Ivan (Bubbling) Calderone and Eddie (Eat, Drink and be) Murray - Cal (Grip it and) Ripken, George (Taco) Bell, Albert (Just like ringin' a) Belle and Tim (Purple) Raines What would Berman done with players before our time? Like Ty ( to the whipping post) Cobb, Ernie (take it to the) Banks, Whitey ( You'll be driving a) Ford, Duke (Duke, Duke of Earl) Snyder
