The only reason I haven't become a contributor is because I sent messages to Brett several times asking him to do something about this and got no response. The least he could have said was it was a matter of free speech, but I got silence. My computer is in a family room and my 4 year old son is around. I don't let him watch shows like Survivor or The Apprentice or daytime soaps or anything like that. I don't want to raise him thinking that women are just there for a man's viewing pleasure. I love LSU sports and want to be involved in this forum. The problem is, I can't even view messages unless I know he's asleep. And my wonderful wife doesn't appreciate the images, either. However, I do like the LSU-related images and that is why I haven't turned off the images.

 

I knew we could count on you to take a stand on the issue.

I bitched about the thread hijacking aspect of the "porn" the other day, but I still look at everyone of them. I suggest those who don't want to look at it, don't. I would be in favor of censoring the avatars, but if some of the anti-porn posters here click on an attachment to view then, well, you're just a hypocrite.

 

Since I'm not a contributor, I cannot view the attached files even if I wanted to. My complaint is the images that appear without my consent. The avatars should be cleaned up. Maybe if Brett would insist that all "questionable" images be attached so that you could have the option to open them or not. If I knew that I could get someone to listen to me, I'd be willing to be a contributor. Oh Brett, where art thou?

And just who decides what images are "questionable"? Well, obviously Brett already does decide and the images posted by tirk and others are mostly within Brett's allowable limits.

Sure, this is a forum for LSU sports discussion but the pictures or good looking women are just a pleasureable bonus.

 

I find it very odd that brett would not respond to a pm though. In all the time I have used this forum, brett has always responded to pm's. It's always surprised me to be honest.
