Ahem. You're wrong. Our secondary is not pathetic. UT managed a good bit of yardage because we laid back in a two-deep zone for much of the night after building the lead. MSU, who despite all their problems has a pretty good passing attack, mustered only 192 yds passing.

But I hope your offense is lulled into thinking they are pathetic. That'll make for a great night for us.

All this smack doesnt mean a thing.

This game will be decided on what every game is decided on and thats Turnovers, Momentum, and which team shows up to play and wants it the most. Coaching and gameplans and preparation are also big factors. Game management and sometimes just the way the damn ball bounces.

If both teams come ready to play it is going to be a great game with the last person having the ball possible winning.

These are the games both schools live for and their will be alot of emotion on both sides. Sometimes being too keyed up leads to being tight. I prefer a loose team that just enjoys playing the game.

I hope it is a clean hard fought contest with LSU coming out on top. It is LSU's time to take control of the SEC West and dominate like we should have been for awhile. Under Saban LSU is going to be a top national contender for years to come.

Auburn you had your day under Bowden and those days are gone. Bama is still your state school and they always will be. You are the Tulane of Alabama and even in your best years you will forever be cast the other school. That is the true reality. You will live in the Bear's shadow for the rest of time.

Auburn's D is good but not great. I think their LB's are quite good and their CB's are decent (sorry to that high on them). I don't see LSU scoring a lot (ie 30+) but if Mauck can be given time...Green/Henderson/Clayton could easily do some damage.

On the other hand, if LSU can't stop AU's running game at all, it could be a long day for anyone. Stuff their line and make JC beat you.

I think that has been the plan all along SL2. USC and Ga. Tech both did it and I think LSU will use that game plan and that we have a better D than both. Campbell is average at best and that is putting it nicely...mediocre suits him better. I have no problem letting our dbs go man to man w/ au's receivers and use the bend but don't break philosphy. IMO, our dbs are better than their wrs and if we give them that short stuff, it won't necessarily open up the run for them and I promise you more often than not, our D will beat Campbell more than he beats us.
