It wasn’t supposed to be like this. LSU was supposed to lose lots in 2018.

As I would expect from you. No big deal you were entitled to your opinion. I said that cause of your roots and would assume you be more sympathetic to a new-hire.

I am severely anti-O. But like I said from the beginning, I hope he proves me wrong because that means things are good for LSU.

I will say this, when they show O on the sidelines, he is always tuned into the game. That was not always the case with Miles... you never knew what that fucker was thinking about but it probably wasn't the game on the field.

I still don't like the way the so-called coaching search was handled, but there is no denying that LSU looks and plays tough this year.

I just think @Bayou Tiger and @lsutiga both make some really good points. Seem like kindred spirits really.

I can honestly say I was anti for both guys. I’m still not convinced it is a long term solution but in this game who is? I am pleased with how well BOTH guys are doing. I think we are trending upward and I only hope that as good as the team is doing we are keeping it clean behind the scenes. So far O has shown he is better than what he was in the past and maybe the demons that stood in his way are gone. We still have a ways to GEAUX but I like what I’m seeing and I hope they win championships at LSU!

Certainly, with the past of each, there was room for questioning and even skepticism. I believe there still is. My argument has always been with those who were certain that they knew what O and E would do, what kind of program and offense they would run. Those who were not willing to take a wait and see approach. Heck, I'm still taking a wait and see approach. I like what I've seen so far, believe there is legitimate reason to be optomistic; but, we still don't know if this team, and, especially this staff, will continue to grow and improve.I believe we are at least one year away from being able to answer that with any degree of certainty.
