Most definitely, because we all know how North Louisiana coaches want all of their players to go to LSU.....NOT
...but Harris stayed. The point demonstrated that he certainly does not value the judgement of his former coach near as much as he once did. Isn't it Shreveport where they think it is okay to put potato salad in their gumbo?
Is this the case of one petty coach, or a view into how North Louisiana still views LSU? I hope the former. If it is the latter, I'm hoping that Orgeron can help change that over time.
To both of your points, yes, he did stay and I think it was more of a testament to the status of LSU recruiting up there in south ark. We haven't had much success there and perhaps this was just a push to ensure that it stays that way. I hope it doesn't work. Dude, I ALWAYS dump the potato salad into my gumbo. Just easier to eat that way, and then when it all melts down, YUM!
Not a big fan either except for German potato salad since it isn't creamy and has bacon and vinegar in it. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/anne-burrell/german-potato-salad-recipe.html
Harris has better talent, I have said this many times, but he was not READY last year. However, we did nothing to prepare him either.
I think they were harmful to Harris. Quit because you weren't handed the role. What kind of message is that?
I agree entirely. I can eat a bucket of German potato salad and feel it better compliments BBQ. It however, like all others, has no place in a gumbo. On the side, sure, but in it? Only someone north of the I-10 would think so. I don't think it did work which, was my point. Had Harris even hinted at a transfer or actually shopped other schools, it certainly would have worked, but he stayed and that makes his point moot. Now, if we can just demonstrate that LSU can do more with those kids than any other school which, we certainly have before, this coach and others like him can get back in the side car and STFU.
