I don't catch cox down here, so all I've seen is highlights, they must edit it down pretty good, because I don't hear what you do.

Shameless plug: The Geaux Show www.geauxshow.com is rebroadcasting Inside LSU Football with Les Miles without commercials for free. If you or somone you know cant catch the show, it will be available for one week after it airs. Sometimes they have parts of his locker room speach in the show and he is ALOT more fired up when talking to the team

I have a little story about Miles that I think is so funny. I like Miles but this kinda scares me knowing it came from LSU's head coach. My buddy, who works for the football team, was in the huddle with Miles and the offense during the Tennessee game. It was a 3rd or 4th down play, I cant remember, and Miles said, "Alright guys, this is definitely a run,.............or........it could be a pass." That is freaking funny but I'm not happy it came from our Coach.

If Miles were to be the Rep. candidate for 2008 Presidential election, would you vote for him? He is a marginally better speaker than W!!! (of course that's not saying much)

  9. As long as he can talk to the team and get the job done, what does it really matter?

No, Les is not very articulate with the media. He plays his cards close to the vest, for one thing. He doesn't like to talk about injuries or technical football. You can see that he is talking slowly and being careful NOT to say something he shouldn't say (which he did a time or two at OSU). He uses coaches cliches way too much.

But . . . even though Les is a yankee, southerners realize that slow talkin' doesn't mean slow thinkin'.

Les is in the big time now and he's making good money. He can afford to hire a media consultant and a speech coach in the off-season to improve his public image. But his first job is to win football games and that's exactly what he is doing.
