Maybe easier ways, but there is no risk in this investment. If you go to the bank on a Tuesday and buy 50 dollars worth of pennies, you will generally get about 15 dollars worth of copper pennies. I run them through the sorter that same night. I put my listing on ebay that night. Someone generally takes the buy it now price of 34.95 within the first few days. I go from having $50 to having $70 in a few days for less than an hours work and no risk. I return the zinc pennies to the bank for more fresh rolls.

Since I am working from a huge inventory of copper, all I have to do is put the listings up. When they sell I roll the pennies. I can roll three rolls a minute with my sorter. So in a little over fifteen minutes I have everything rolled, packed in a flat rate mailer, and ready for the postman to pick up.

i assumed you just sort through the 5 pennies in your pocket every day and eventually you had 40 thousand.
