UT colors. Too easy. Years ago when Major was wanting to get into coaching, he went to UT, Brown didn't have anything, no openings. So I was talking with a OC at a college in Tx. He said, guess who was just in the office, it was Major. He was going to come in as a GA, somehow, Mack got wind of it and told him he had an opening on the staff. Major spent 3 years as a GA at TX. As a side note, if you go into Jones Creek Cafe in BTR, over the door to get into the bar area, there is a Major Applewhite jersey hanging, its a UTx jersey.
A good friend of mine saw Jims last concert up in N La, he saw the tree and parts of the plane the next morning.

The athletic department has been leaking names of candidates to distract the media because they don't want a repeat of the highly unprofessional way that Chavis and A&M tanked LSU's bowl game defense by prematurely spilling the news before the game.
