Peabody, This forum allows all sorts of opinions. You definitely have one. But 47? The over is what, about 56? These are two of the best defenses in the country. Expect a field position battle and low scoring game. I might give you over 47 if you thought there would be a couple of breakaways... Anyway...ramah stays. Remember, he is still adjusting to state-side living.
Ramah and some Barner fans are the only ones that have been abrasive to me. I come here about as much as I go to TideFans. Good site. Geaux Tigers!
Its about...to end right now. Only Brett and the moderators decide if and when anyone or any post will be deleted, cesored, edited, or banned. There is no voting...this is not a democracy.
Most of us won't be home then. We will be in the French Quarter celebrating our National Championship until the wee hours. Some of us into the next day. I doubt I will be able to get back to a computer until Wednesday or so. The only ones on this board Sunday @ 10:30 will probably be our out-of-town fans who by unfortunate chance cannot be here for the game (Sorry guys, I feel for you). I can understand why they will be here. For some this forum is a lifeline that tethers them to LSU from far away. But most of us will be more occupied with the actual game and the actual festivities than an internet message board (even if it IS the best one around )
if you cant take the smack then go sit at home and do needlepoint. We are here to discuss things and even LSU fans disagree. I like talking smack but i like talking serious issues too. Hell here i can do both. Last i heard this was a free country. If you dont like what you are reading reply or get the hell out. I say give em hell Tigers and win lose or draw i am going to be talking smack. When i go to opposing boards i am respectfull and i understand i am a guest. I am prepared to be called out if i disagree with them. Geaux Tigers
what we all must (and should) understand is that Louisiana people are passionate about several things: family politics food hunting/fishing football the last, football, centers around LSU for the majority of us, and we are consumed about it. Most of us have been to Tiger Staduim on a Saturday night and seen the crowd, felt the excitement, and know how much LSU fans care and are involved in our team. This is true way back when I was a little boy in the 70s and 80s. We will, inherantly, protect that which is most sacred and reveered by us, and that does mean being a bit sassy to visitors when they disgrace our pride and joy. I have seen this passion for a football team one other place in my lifetime, and that is Ohio State. If you want to be belittled and beat upon, visit one of their fan sites and say something negative about the Buckeyes. In conclusion, I love Louisiana, and I love LSU. If you are an opposing fan wanted to talk smack, consider yourselves warned.... DON'T TREAD ON ME
