Tyrann was not a thug. Jefferson did at times exhibit thugish behavior. La'el Collins is not being referred to as a thug. There are white thugs too as well as hispanic thugs and believe it or not there actually are Asian thugs. Its just a fucking word. Get over it.
I have never considered thug to be a racist word as it applies to anyone who uses violence to gain power or money, regardless of race or sex.

I guess I should clarify though. The word itself IS NOT the new N word because in its proper context can mean exactly what @Tiger in NC defined it as. But it can be used racially and is used a lot. There is no "other way" to use the N word, it just is what it is.
Thugs and Democrats have been used as a more socially acceptable term for n*****s for quite some time now. I know how white people insist they're not racist, but they seem to forget as a white guy I'm always invited to hear all the racist shit they say. They should be more careful because not all of us white guys from the South are raised to think the way they think. We're also not afraid to call them on their bullshit. Most of you are racist as hell, but don't even realize it.
