    Heres a better question.
Does congress have the right to pass the health care bill?
Here are the powers of congress you tell me.

So you're ignoring 200 years of legal precedent? I'm not a lawyer, but in my experience there's always a loophole.

On a humorous note, I think it might fall under Piracy...

The loophole is you can look at it like Alexander Hamilton and say these are not the only powers of congress, or you can look at it like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, and say these are the only powers of congress. Of course the George Washington view is the correct one but the Hamilton view has been adopted over the last 100 years.

The conspiracy theory you provide here I don't buy.

Also to answer your last question which I did before.

Govt has regulations on drugs that must pass their "quality" screen. (AKA give money to the GOVT thus price goes up, unlike Mexico). And there are patent laws here (AKA doesn't let competing business create this drug, unlike Mexico which makes the price higher)

Let's not even start with the doctor malpractice fiasco that Obama said he WILL NOT address.

You have to first understand the system before you try to "fix" it.

conspiracy theory? Ever wonder why everytime you go into a doctors office you see tons of paraphernalia by certain drugs, you will see pamphlets on pristiq, and symbacort, note pads, and pens with drug names on them, magnets, coozies, stress balls, those are provided to the doctors offices by drug reps, did you know that doctors get kickbacks for every prescription they write of those certain drugs from drug companies? My wife went to see her doctor, we sat in the lobby and waited, i noticed 6 or 7 pamphlet holders full of pamphlets about a drug called Pristiq, and Lyrica. Wouldn't you know it that when my wife came out she had a prescription for both? If you think doctors and insurance companies are just these great people who are here to save lives and help people, you are sorely mistaken. They are here for one thing, to make money.

So choose a different doc. This is not different business practice than any other business. And YES it is a BUSINESS.

Not to mention YES you wife may have had symptoms for both of those medications. If you think the doctor was acting out of money why didn't you call the Board? Heck did you wife take both drugs? Then obviously you thought his opinion was right or wrong.

And you think this practice will stop if we have Govt run insurance?

My wife didn't want to report it. BTW, I don't support universal healthcare. I think there are alot of things that can be done to tweak and fix the healthcare system we have now, but im not too keen that HR3200 bill at all.

yes, but they do nothing, she still complains of the same symptoms. you would have to know my wife for it to make any sense. she just blindly trusts anyone and everyone.
