Is There a ‘Right’ to Health Care?

    David Walker has shown that our current model is definitely unsustainable; it will break the nation in less than 40 years, so it must be changed a LOT.

    I don't know what level of expense is sustainable, but what we are doing now is NOT. If we cut spending the system will stand up longer.

    What do you propose that we do?

    He already made a proposal. Some of you have to realize that doing something just to say that we're making change is not necessarily the answer.

    Think about it this way, if your car starts getting terrible gas mileage would you take it to the junk yard? No, not at first anyway, you would change the gasoline in it, fuel filter, air filter etc. Then if that didn't work you may take it to the junk yard. You don't just scrap the whole thing without trying to fix the problem.

    ha! yeah I forgot about the $4,500 check you would get. Just scrap the damn thing.
