OK, then who is our friend, the Shiites or the Sunnis? Sometimes you don't have friends and enemies . . . only adversaries.

I'm angry at our former coach because he had a setup here, and was too stupid to see it. We had a good thing going and he screwed it up.

He dishonored himself in the NFL, and weaseled over to Bama. He called Skip, but we have another good thing going and honored our deal. Bama ate their own son, one year removed from 10-2, still coming off a probation hangover, with 56 out of 85 scholly kids as freshmen or sophs (or was it fr. and redshirt fr.?).

I don't think its a given that our former coach will enjoy the same success at Bama, we'll see.

But in the Iron Bowl, I'll pull for Auburn, unless a Bama victory is needed to put us in the SECCG. Man, I'd hate to have to pull for a victory for our former coach.

In general, I don't think an Apocalypse is near. Auburn, LSU, and Arky just have another competitive future program to contend with, nothing really new.

Never ever forgive the Smoke' em if ya got' em insult in TS no less, and never forgive saban for the bama blow job he's getting. To announce on sugar bowl day no less is another slap in the face. He will find a lot of his LA friendships muted and will claim he just can't understand why it's that way.

He just can't fathom in his most horrific nightmare how bad it's going to be when he comes to TS in 08. The ass whuppin the Pissed off Tiger nation and their championship caliber team is going to lay on bama in bama, will be even worse the following year here. CNS is going to be at a lost for words or whining like a totally surprised lil bitch about us evil LSU fans and accusing Les of running up the score. The 08 game will be be one for the record books.

He is going to have a lot of sleepless nights those game weeks.

I have vented my spleen on this, and my high level of hatred of our former coach can no longer be sustained. I hope I have the good sense to get off this kick for a while. I will try to focus on LSU until football season starts again. No promises though. :yelwink2:

for the record, I've always hated Bama worse than Auburn. Everythime I am in alabama the Auburn fans are gracious nice people. ( I also work with a couple of Auburn fans ) While the Bama fans usually act like their crap don't stink. If you were around during the Bear Bryant--- Cholly mac days you'd know exactly what I meant.

I'll never forget that lady at the Shoney's who came over to my table last year after we ruined Bama's 6-0 record. I was eating in Prattville, ALA on a business trip and she told me I had allot of nerve wearing that LSu cap in their State. This was during the week before their defeat to Auburn in the Iron bowl.

I told her I had an Auburn hat in the truck if she'd prefer that. she snorted and left.

She sat down across the isle and then told her hubby the same thing " he has allot of nerve wearing that hat" Her hubby told her, " he's big enough to wear whatever hat he wants" and he told her to shut up LOL

I waved at them and smiled nicely on the way out.

I was thinking that this situation with Saban would be similar if Fran left
Bama for 2 years and coached somewhere else than went to Auburn as head
    coach.
I don't think they would be rubbing it in our noses like some seem to be.
Heck, look at how they reacted by him going to a different conference.

About us Uniting, I don't think so but we do have the same views on the
situation but so does the rest of the country.

I think this hurts AU a lot more than LSU!
Heck, Saban can have Jimbo for all I care but he won't be able to get anyone
else from the state of Louisiana including most recruits.
After all Auburn and Alabama will be competing from the same state between
recruiting and the Ole Iron Bowl.

    I have a question?
Everyone who has kids or will have kids will try and teach their kids the golden
rule of you don't lie, cheat, steal or kill?
I'm assuming this is the case?

How is it that parents can then let their children go to Alabama and play for
a guy that is a liar?
Most coaches are like fathers when kids are away from home since the kids
    look up to them?
