    Les Miles won't need money.

Les Miles is now number 2 on Michigan's list following Harbaugh.
Both Michigan Men, both Bo prodigies.
    Both would be accepted here.

Rich Rod found out the hard way that the spread can't work in the Big 10. These boys are just too big and beat down the speedy little skinny players.

The spread is fine for a game. That is usually how these teams beat the Big 10 in bowls. It is fine for ONE game.

However, as Michigan's try at a spread offense over the course of the season shows, they are just getting pounded and injured. It can't work here.

Don't make a mistake here........Michigan has ALL the money. What they have to pay to get somebody is irrelevant.

What they want is someone cut from Bo's cloth. Miles and Harbaugh are both "Michigan Men".

Miles stated he bleeds Maize and Blue. I think his sentiment is stronger than Harbaugh's actually but since he passed on the first offer, it may force UofM to look at Jim first.

Michigan has the power and the money to pull anyone from anywhere. It's not right, but it is what it is. I guess that's a privilege you earn after decades of great football.

So is Will Muschamp another Zook? I wouldn't be blown away by that hire at LSU. I guess it is a pretty big name, but are the results really there?

Really? Michigan has the money to pay for Rich Rod's buyout, plus Les' LSU buyout (which purportedly jumps significantly if he bolts for Michigan), AND whatever salary he wants at Michigan? With that kind of $$$$ lying around, yall should be cutting huge checks to the Michigan state treasury, I hear they could use some of that.

They do. Check your facts before you try and sound intelligent.
Don't sling mud from the Big Greasy. You don't have anything to stand on.
I'll stay in Ann Arbor and love it. It's one of the top 10 cities to live in. Google it.
I know what list your city is on. Google that too.
And yes, we can write and check and buy you. Get over it.

Don come talking about who your next coach is gonna be when Rich Rod is still the coach. So, you wanna say it's either Harbaugh or Miles??? like i said before check your facts, nevermind i will do it for you. just read the following link :
Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh isn't the only answer should Michigan football fire Rich Rodriguez - AnnArbor.com

You need to learn your role on this board and it is to provide opinions and insight not be disrespectful. If you can't handle that get lost!!!!!

"You aren't from around here, are you?"

Unlike so many other boards, this one prides itself on civility. Unprovoked attacks on Baton Rouge and Louisiana are a quick route to the ignore button. You love Ann Arbor--got it, but not everyone does and if they did I suspect that it would become an unbearable place to live because of all the people there. We love Baton Rouge, and don't care what others think of it. Lighten up, Francis.

Sure, UM alums have the money to buy out RichRod's and Miles' contract. LSU alums have that kind of money as well. The important question is whether they have the will to do it. I guess we'll wait until January to find out.

You're way out of your league here, junior. If you want to talk straight up football, I'll be glad to discuss it with you. If you're here to troll and stir up trouble, then quit while you're ahead.

Sure it could happen. There are lots of rich boosters and alums. Do you really want to risk going the Notre Dame route by throwing megabucks at a coach only to run him off in under 4 years? Especially when Les would be walking into a program in just as poor a shape, if not worse, than it was in 2007? You should do some research of your own vis-a-vis schools getting their top HC picks. You really think Muschamp was at the very top of anybody's list in the Florida AD? And that's a program sitting on top of the college football mountain in one of the richest recruiting states in the country. Again, not saying Les to Michigan won't happen, or even that it's improbable. But HC hires are a strange and unpredictable process, and not as cut and dried as you want to believe.

AA here's the harsh reality, UM isn't what it used to be. It's a great and proud program for sure, but Miles already said no when it was in ok shape. He won't being saying yes now that it is a broken down Mercedes, cost too much to repair. Besides he's driving a Mercedes now, it just needs an oil change. As for Harbaugh, be prepared for him to say no as well.

Hard to swallow I'm sure, but sometimes your best children don't want to come back home. They move on with their lives, and decide not to be associated with their roots for whatever reason.

:geaux: Good read on the article. :thumb: Brady Hoke from San Diego State could definitely be a possibility should UM hit the eject button under Richrod's seat. Was watching the San Diego State / Navy game the other night and the announcers were talking about how Michigan is Hoke's dream job and that he has stated as much on several occassions. Don't know if Hoke is a "Michigan Man" or not, but he's a pretty damb good coach based on how he's turned around a down in the crapper program at SDSU. Wouldn't be surprised if his name doesn't start popping up more often for HC jobs at bigger schools. Something to watch anyway. :LSU231:

First of all, by the big greasy, I assume you meant New Orleans - or "The Big Easy".. Well, LSU is not in New Orleans. So, perhaps it is you that should check your facts before "trying to sound intelligent".

As far as top 10 cities to live in, well.. I like it here. Ya know, since there's actually some work here and whatnot. A little good food, good weather, and some of the best damn looking women in the country is enough to make sure I'm happy here.

    Google this, jackwagon.
