The liberal twinkeltoed ckskrs of this world are trying to "pussify" the last decent link to America's glorious game and throwback to the ancient Roman past ... the modern day gladiator. When I played ball back in the 60's & 70's, anything went ... kicks, punches (in the balls, throat, kidneys), biting (god forbid some poor bastid stuck his hand inside my face mask), elbows, crack-back blocks, spearing was mandatory. The whole team visited the trainer's room after games. I've thrown forearm closelines that cut guys for a 1-1/2 gainer. I've seen hits that cracked helmets, concussed skulls and dislodged eyeballs from their sockets. You played hard and you played mean, and you played to "**** UP YOUR OPPONENT" ... you wanted him carried off the field horizontally. That's when we were playing the good teams that played relatively clean ball ... when we knew we were playing a dirty team ... well, that's another post ... I'll just say Football is not a game for pussies.
Yep, those were the good 'ol days. I can't tell you how many times I've been watching a football game and seen a player have a clear opportunity to punch or grab an opponent's testicles and not take advantage. It's good to see that some people still take pride in a good throat-punching during an athletic competition. Frigging liberals!
I just read it. She "claims"/he won't talk at all about it, according to the article. Doesn't mean true or false. I think she is a grown woman now. I don't know if or why he could be made to test.
So, I guess I'm a P**sy for suggesting that LSU may be lacking class on the field by trash talking? I played high school ball, and yes we talked trash, but we backed it up. What we didn't do was talk trash, then go on to get burned on national tv. We didn't get in our opponent's face after a play. All I'm saying - if your getting you asss handed to you, play football and stop talking crap because it's obviously causing you to loose even more focus. All I asked was if anyone saw what I saw, and it appears only 2-3 of you did. The rest of you macho tough guys ragging on my post, why don't you have a nice day.
