I can see putting Faulk over Webster, Ill give you that. Possibly even Peterson. I still say Webster over Faneca though. Webster was a stud for three years. HE should have been All American as a soph. Most underrated Tiger was Ben Wilkerson. Also Kyle Williams.
If just considering college career, I think Dorsey is the obvious choice. There are definitely a lot of others that had outstanding years at LSU but not to the level of Dorsey when factoring individual and team accomplishments. As far as the NFL careers are concerned, I guess I'd go with Faneca. Faulk was voted to the Patriots all-time team (as a return specialist) a few years ago so that's rather impressive. Just to still be playing in the league at 35 yrs old at RB is incredible. The first time I heard about him was in 8th grade when our winless middle school team was feaing having to play his school. Then, I got to play basketball against him in high school a few times. We entered LSU the same year and I watched him help the team "Bring Back the Magic". If it weren't for Lou Tepper, his senior year at LSU could've been special.
Wow! I just dont get that. Webster was much more impactful. He had three exceptional seasons as a shut down corner. Hester was a hell of a back, dont get me wrong. Just look at the CBs LSU has produced since 2000. Peterson, Webster, Claiborne, TM7, Jackson, Zenon, and Daniels.
his last year he must have eaten toast every morning for breakfast. of course he was coming off injury.
Does Dorsey still play? I watch the saints but not much other pro ball. I prefer college ball. The last time I heard of him he was hurt. That was a year or two ago. Doesn't he play for the lions ?
