    Succinct.

    I like it.

I just hope the kid gloves are stowed away for good and they unleash him this season. If that happens, he has the potential to have an outstanding season and the W-L column will look very favorable for LSU.

In a word, no. Besides, after watching what else qualified as a QB last year, he appears to be the best we've got, unless others drastically improve.

I remember all the talk about how JL challenged JJ for the starting job last year. We saw those results in the LA Tech game. Not saying anyting bad against JL (and I'll defend him until I'm blue in the face), but coachspeak is just that. I still hope JL HAS improved, though. But I s'pose riding the pine so long will make you a bit rusty.

I don't think JL is a bad QB either, but I think his baptism by fire hurt him. Yet another thing to thank RP for

    Yes, JJ is our guy.

Am I worried? Absolutely, but it's not just b/c JJ is our guy. I think that we are going to have a tough year. I also think that CLM will be fired as a result.

    Not flamin', just being real.

And you would go so far as to say no matter what the record is, correct?

Or is your assertion that the record won't be near bad enough to even consider firing him, or the fact that he is beyond firing, being only 3 seasons removed from a championship?
