Police should have zero tolerance of racial profiling

We need to end the unjust practice of racial profiling in America. It’s not only unfair, it is inconsistent with America’s community policing success, it is a violation of the basic American principle of innocent until proven guilty, it views Americans as members of groups instead of as individuals, and it is just plain shoddy policing.

Sometimes. I would have EVERY Muslim looking man flying have a little talk with security. Who is blowing people up? Muslim men. Checkem out. They say we shouldn't group every Muslim together. Bullchit! They group all us infidels together. We should all convert to Islam or die. I say screen them all. I am like Martin on this one, I don't care if you call me racist. If it was up to me they would all be searched. I would have every one of them cavity searched just to be mean.Profiling would be the least of their worries if I were in charge.
As far as police - if they look like their guilty of something they probably are. Use your instincts. Go have a talk with them and see how they act.

 

Hw do you tell if someone is Muslim by looking at them? That's like looking at someone and determining if their Christian.

 

Maybe muslim looking was the wrong term. How does isreal know who to question in their airports? That's how we should do it. The 300 lb old lady in a wheelchair doesn't look like a terrorist. A middle eastern young man would be suspicious. Other countries profile people in airports. I don't care if it hurts someone's feelings. If you have nothing to hide why would you not answer a few questions. Think of how other people in the world laugh at us for searching little girls and old ladies when a middle eastern looking man with a Saudi accent walks by

Actually in Isreal they don't discriminate. At TLV, they have these people wandering the airport and studying people's behavior. They will pull aside anyone including 300 lb women in wheelchairs, 6 year old children and the whitest of white people, often even if they do not appear suspicious, just to watch the reaction of someone they feel looks suspicious. Someone's appearance has very little to do with how they choose who to question and screen.

Americans love their freedoms way too much for us to adopt a screening system like Isreal and El Al uses...
