They are almost as entertaining as the "Fire the Coach" threads even after we win!

Alabama is looking better than the Gators. We will not beat bama. There running game is to strong. The rest of the West is beatable.:tigereye:

Almost everybody predicted 10-2 with losses to Bama and Florida last summer on this board. We are exactly on track for that record, which ain't shabby at all in a minor rebuilding year. Those teams will be ranked #1 and #2 this week and we have to play them both, year-in and year-out. We're just not going to be champions every year, folks, nobody is going to be.

No reason we can't be content with 10-2, another bowl win, and a very promising 2010 outlook with a better schedule and an awful lot of promising young talent waiting in the wings.

I totally agree with your post HOWEVER if this is the case then I wonder if the program hasn't taken a slight step backwards?
It seems to me that we are now in third place behind Florida and Bama just like last year.

Keep in mind that I am NOT trying to bash anyone but its just a thought.
I guess next year will have to be the make or break year?
I know and agree we can't be there every year but at some point if we don't beat Bama or Florida something will have to change?

Right again, Red. I'm sorry we didn't beat Florida, but the D showed much improvement and we kept it close. Better than I actually expected at the beginning of the season. :geaux:
