Perhaps not the most opportune time to bring this up with Auburn coming up tomorrow. Still plenty of football left to play this season, etc but word of the Alleva meeting caused me to experience an epiphany. Our head coach apparently has limited to no input into either the offense or defensive philosophy of this team. How will this news affect recruiting? Would you come play for a guy who supposedly is only told what time is kickoff and nothing more? What happens when one or both coordinators leave? The search party for the new coach (es) will be O and Duke Alleva? Heaven help us. I like O. I wish him well but this week I realized there’s an elephant in the room and it’s just a matter of time before it starts to smell bad.
It probably has a lot to do with the promises Miles made about changing and Alleva knows good and well his job is in jeopardy if we keep seeing crap on the field. I doubt kits come to LSU because they believe coach O has a great offensive or defensive mind. I don't agree with what Alleva is doing but I can understand why he's doing it.
