Suh, we don't ppreciate hippies round hyeah. Puhleez take yo long haared, hippy bee-hind back ta California with the rest of those rope smokin freaks and leave God's Country to Coach Saban and his Disciples of the Bold Purple and Gold. Thank ya, Jesus. :geaux: :lsug:
Seriously tho, That game was something I won't ever forget. I was planning on gradually destroying my voice, but I had a vocal blowout on the first play of the damn game with JV taking 60. After that all I could contribute to crowd noise was a hoarse croacking sound. If you weren't there: better luck next time around! :lsug: :geaux:
Yes, and it was with an abundance of artillery support, as I recall. How-evahhhh, we all know that the children of the South are all God's children. Can I get an "Amen" for Brother Lafitte?
Well I just returned from a week trip to CA - and let EVERYONE know that my LSU Tigers are the National Champs! Could've been "I'm on my Way to see the LSU Tigers Play" bag which I travel with or my NC shirts! Everytime I heard " yeah but you share it" - I drowned that out with "No we won the National Championship!" I have yet to receive my NC gear, but was so excited to learn it has been shipped and should arrive today. Thanks to whoever provided the link to that awesome video - made me cry tears of joyeaux this morning. Sugar high? You bet - I hope to never come down (it is driving my husband crazy...) Oh, and how about my Carolina Panthers going to the SuperBowl?(The Saints are my team, but man oh man they're never going to get there...)
Another high after watching the video clip (with background music "Eye of the Tiger" shown at Tiger Stadium during the celebrations. Awesome video and nicely done. Wonder if that's included in the official LSU video that is coming out? The improved version of LSU BOOM which was posted on this site is also very nice. ________ Free target gift cards
Re: Game My voice is still a bit "raspy" according to my co-workers. I couldn't talk for several days after the Sugar Bowl. I am almost back 100% but I'll never forget what a great January 2004 I had!
