great video ... The Puerto Rican version of the Macarena is hilarious ... you know the one where they imitate being arrested by a cop ... assuming the position against a wall ... hands cuffed behind the back ... I laugh my ass off when a comedian does it really well.
Say what you will about OU's cheer. I agree, it's not the most mascaline thing in the world. But I still say 'THE' gay-est cheer (or whatever you want to call it) in the history of ALL sports is the "Hoddy Toddy"!!
Anybody who would actually yell Hoddy Toddy in public either lost a bet or has a queer eye for the queer guy.
Still High This sort of high never goes away. I wear the championship shirts around the house every day I've got the t-shirts for hot weather and the long sleeve t's and pullovers for the cold. Never wearing anything else. Hopefully if there's a deathbed scenario I'll have one of them on. I wept like a baby after that game. I really thought OU was going to maybe beat us pretty bad with what they wanted to prove to the world. I thought ramah was over the top. But here's the deal. The more I read his posts........(and he clearly knew the matchups a hell of a lot more than me and most people) the more I became a believer. ramah IS THE MAN. Two days before the game something actually snapped in me and I did say to myself, "He (ramah) is right.....we're actually going to win this thing!!!" This high is never going away. Quick question for Peabody. (No smack here at all, a serious question) What's your favorite OU board and do you use the same handle there as you do here?
No one can defend that. I heard the original cheer was "Hotty Potty", which was an invite to another man to meet him in the men's room.
I started this thread on the 14th. Its now the 18th. I am consumed by our National Championship still.
I plan on watching all of the games starting Friday and taking a break to see the new flag raised sat.
Altar to Nick Saban. I've built an Altar to Coach Nick Saban in my home. There is a nice portrait of Coach above some candles and incense. Underneath the very large portrait of Coach are small photos of the Disciples of Saban, which would be the members of the football team. After we sign our #1 recruiting class, I'll add those new photos to the Altar and light new candles and incense. I'm writing a song that I call "All Hail to Coach Saban". I'm going to send it to Gov. Blanco and ask her to require all 1st Graders in Louisiana to sing it every day in school, right after they say The Pledge of Allegiance. I'm proposing a Louisiana Constitutional Amendment that would make it a crime to wear Green and Blue, or utter the phrase, "Go Green Wave!" I'm designing a Crown, Scepter and Ermine Robe for Coach to wear at official functions. I've asked Mignon Faget to design the Crown and Scepter, but she hasn't returned my calls yet. I found a nice purple Ermine Robe for sale at an estate sale for a retired New Orleans pimp who passed away. :geaux: :lsug:
