it’s the number being quoted this morning, front page WAPO online edition.

"The White House has agreed to allow enhanced scrutiny over a massive loan program that is a centerpiece of the Senate’s $2 trillion coronavirus economic package, two people briefed on the discussions said, taking steps to address a major Democratic concern and potentially pave the way for a vote by Tuesday night."

It’s the global warming bullshit that really gets me. Global Warming is the tool the left is using to create a tyrannical global oversight government allowing them to regulate just about anything. Global Warming has nothing to do with this. If anything, it’s helping fight it.

The other is the voting crap. They are pushing hard to transform the US into a Democracy, which it is not, and should never be.

When and if they ever send anything it will be a pittance that will be gone before you know it. As of a couple of days ago there was still some horse racing going on. I'm going to take my $1000 and pick long shot and put it all down on the nose.

Does that mean that if they send me $1000 I've got to pay it back? Probably with interest. Most people would end up paying it back. Except for the crackheads and the Mexicans.

I've used a similar argument. When they argue that trump's evil, I simply state that trump is the exact reason you should support a limited role of the federal government. They usually don't know what to say st that point.

here's some of the laundry list per Sen. Tom Cotton:
    @SenTomCotton 3:21 PM · Mar 23, 2020·Twitter Web App
Families and businesses need help now to survive the China virus pandemic. But @SpeakerPelosi walked away from negotiations to write her own bill, full of absurd provisions completely unrelated to the crisis at hand. Here’s what Speaker Pelosi is demanding while Americans suffer:

    1. Corporate pay statistics by race and race statistics for all corporate boards at companies receiving assistance

    2. Bailing out all current debt of postal service

    3. Required early voting

    4. Required same day voter registration

    5. 10k bailout for student loans

    6. For companies accepting assistance, 1/3 of board members must be chosen by workers

    7. Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining

    8. Full offset of airline emissions by 2025

    9. Greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights
    10. Retirement plans for community newspaper employees

    11. $15 minimum wage at companies receiving assistance

    12. Permanent paid leave at companies receiving assistance

There isn't much love for the current system with insurance companies from doctors, at least when I talk to my family who are in the medical field don't like the current system. Of course this is anecdotal, just was surprised by their response. It was pretty much all fuck the insurance companies, and of course fuck the lawyers. They seemed very open to the medicare for all plan that has been going around.
