Yep, my sales mgr told us this morning we received at least three letters from different companies basically begging us not to shut down because they needed us that bad. Hope that we get a lot more of those letters but not likely.
I should have gone on to law school after graduation. You would probably see myu picture on the side of a bus.
My mom said that to me since I was probably 7 years old. Damn how I wish I had listened to her. Knowing what I know now, my fascination with the law, I would have made a great lawyer. I would have also lost it all for banging the paralegals but whatever
Thats only because recoveries can take up to 3 weeks so that number is irrelevant in the short term. And follow-ups arent a priority atm. But I agree another week or so. We are Americans not to be holed up like the french. A big issue is resources. If everything is shut down, supplies are spread way too thin. It would be more effective to attack the hotspots with testing for everyone in those areas. Isolate the elderly/vulnerable and protect them wholly. The drugs and resources can go to those who need it instead of all the others worrying about a cold. This will also keep numbers lower while buying us more time to develop a vaccination. Get proactive and go on the offense. Its how we'd rather go out anyhow.
And look at the numbers? That entire cluster up there with New York and the surrounding has the bulk of the problem. Hell as of today Oklahoma has less than 100, probably more tomorrow. I get it, more people there, packed in like rats, but hell. How about we saw off California, that drops us by about 1500 cases and say good riddance. New York is kind of cool even though I've never been there. I love their spirit and we should keep them. Just build a wall around it until this shit settles down and we will be fine. Maybe AOC will get it.
