Okay, allow me to transfer "drill team" for my non-Texans on the board. In Texas, drill teams refer to dance teams that also do precision high kicking. My 9th grader has drill team practice from 6:45-8:15 daily (classes start at 9), then again at 4th period. While the school musical was going on (she was the stage manager and wants to do that professionally), she would have after school rehearsals from 4:30 - 7 p.m. She really needed this break, to be honest.
